The Brenta Secca farm has been an important resource for the Campolongo Maggiore area for over a hundred years. We are on the Riviera del Brenta and the farm was already active in the early twentieth century working with arable crops and dairy cows. In the 1980s the first changes took place with part of the land being converted to vegetable cultivation. Based on the determined farsightedness of Antonia Trincanato, focus was switched to a crop that was little known at the time: asparagus. People were quickly won over by its quality and freshness and came to the farm to buy some for themselves. Today asparagus from the nearby village of Conche is much appreciated throughout the region, and this was its precursor. Naturally, then, one of our signature dishes is our asparagus risotto. The latest revolution for the farm, reflecting one of the most popular trends of the moment, is our beer production. In the restaurant we focus on both simple and more complex dishes always made using produce from our farm and local growers.
