The Corte Milana Agriturismo in Adria is a place where Nature in all the majesty of its beauty and colour reigns supreme. The seasons dictate the rules, while the rural Polesine tradition has left its mark with the villa, the oratory of Santa Giustina, the Museum of the Republic of Bosgattia, the bread oven as well as in the agricultural organisation of the estate, the vegetable garden and the courtyard. You can admire the old mill (where hemp was once processed), the rows of fields, the lowland forest, the pastures bordered by trees and the wild fruits and flowers. The farm has been in the capable hands of Luca Serafin since 1998. He strives to run the business with an eye to environmental sustainability and the well-being of his animals that graze across the estate and lowland forest, in the fields and the vegetable garden. The hens sleep in the trees and the chicks are born among the straw in the barn or, in winter, in the incubator. The fields are used to produce the classic plain crops of wheat, maize, soya and beetroot, which rotate according to the cycle of the seasons. Some of the wheat is processed into flour, which is used to make bread in the School Farm workshops.
